The intriguing debate over pizza's origins, whether rooted in the sun-soaked streets of Italy or born from an ancient Greek topped pita, remains a delightful subject for pizza historians. Yet, one undeniable truth prevails – pizza's allure knows no bounds, capturing my taste buds and heart, from bustling urban centers to the frosty expanses of Antarctica. More than a culinary delight, pizza has evolved into a symbol of well-being, quality of life, and satisfaction, becoming a social phenomenon celebrated on every corner of the globe.

Within the saucy world of pizza, I would like to invite you to indulge in a multi-sensory experience that transcends the ordinary act of eating, transforming it into a celebration of sight, taste, touch, smell, and even sound. My artistic exploration of pizza is an ode to its rich cultural tapestry, drawing inspiration from the oversexualized Ristorante Pizza ads that graced the advertising landscape of the early '90s. In a nod to that era, where objects were often provocatively displayed alongside women, my project, "Pizza Porn," deliberately channels the styles of distinguished male photographers such as Terry Richardson and Ryan McGinley. These photographers, renowned for their early 20th-century work featuring nudity, find reinterpretation in my lens. By liberating myself from the male gaze, I infuse my feminine perspective, breathing new life into the intersection of nude photography and pizza, with a subtle dash of irony.
