Verfallen
-
In an inner monologue, the actor deals with his inner self that he perceives as neurotic and excruciating. He realizes that for as long as he can remember, he has fallen for femininity and grace. The force of feminity is taking more and more control over him. It is so obsessive that even in everyday life he is having uncontrollable thoughts. When he sees a beautiful stranger on the street, he is gripped anew and feels powerless. Her maturity and strength, his inferiority and superiority, not least the sight of her legs, wrapped in nylon tights, make him weak. His mood is accompanied by the urban, cold, gray atmosphere in black and white. He glides down into a surreal world where he is confronted with his deepest fears and desires. Lost in his world, she puts her hands on his shoulders. Every movement of her hands is carried out consciously and has a symbolic character. The nylon tights that he had just admired on the legs of the strangers loop around his body, touch his face and rob him of his view. It wraps around his neck as the noose slowly gets tighter, the material hugs his body like a strong bond, from which he cannot break free. And also in some way he doesn't even want to free himself. He feels safe and is horrified at the same time. It absorbs all sensory stimuli and he accepts its role as a devotee. He lost, but doesn't feel like a loser. Having just experienced a strong feeling of peace and security, he is torn into reality. The beautiful stranger disappears behind the wall of a futuristic building. He remains behind, left alone with his unfulfilled desires and the longing that torments him.
