The Guttemplers in Germany are pioneers in addiction self-help who are committed to helping people overcome alcohol and drug addiction. The promotional film focuses on the SoberGuides, trained volunteer addiction self-help guides who support people on their path to recovery. I produced an image film for the Guttempler.

Storyline: We are in a car repair shop. Gisbert's car is broken and he's having it checked. While the two men are talking, the mechanic mentions that he's going to get something to drink. For Gisbert, this statement triggers a chain of images and memories from past situations involving alcohol. When the car mechanic returns with a bottle of water, Gisbert's relief is evident as he realizes that his friend has opted for a healthy alternative. The commercial conveys the important role of SoberGuides as supportive companions on the road to overcoming addiction.

With this strong call-to-action, the film encourages viewers to seek support and take the first step on the road to recovery.
